How it all began…
It all began when I was in the U.S. Navy stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). My job was to track aircraft for the Combat Information Center. This is where the love of flying and being around planes started along with working with computers. After my time in the military, I went on to college and majored in Management Information Systems. During my last two years I took a pilot intro flight and was hooked on planes again. I decided to pursue my pilots license my senior year. From there I flew mostly in Florida and then life started to get busy. I put off flying and focused on my career, but the thought of flying has never left. My career has been predominately in the power utility and telecommunication industry. Most of my positions have been in the engineering field designing large industrial complexes around the world which has brought me to where I am today. The idea of flying in a 3D world still persists and now I have the best of both worlds where I can help develop engineering models and yet still fly with drones.

Working as a Telecommunication Engineer for the past 25 years and being involved in many engineering design projects my background is naturally design engineering based. I have worked on many projects around the world using engineering software such as Autodesk and Bentley products. I have hands on experience in the field of construction and have taken OSHA 30 and many other courses. Taking all that experience has allowed me to understand and incorporate 3D models into the next generation.
